My Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy centers on fostering deep conceptual understanding, active engagement, and confidence in mathematics. I strive to help students understand not only what mathematical methods work, but also why they work, encouraging them to think critically and approach problems as active participants in the learning process. Through collaborative learning, frequent opportunities for questions and discussion, and a supportive classroom environment, I aim to make mathematics accessible, engaging, and intellectually rewarding.
I believe that meaningful learning occurs when students feel comfortable exploring ideas, making mistakes, and asking questions. By emphasizing communication and mathematical reasoning, I encourage students to develop the skills necessary to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently. Ultimately, my goal is to help students grow not only as mathematics learners, but also as independent thinkers and problem solvers.
